Alright, then which file should it be using? I removed that SDK from my VC++ directories and now it can't find afxwin.h and the one included in the SDK seems to be the only one on my HDD.

Try restarting the computer or installing something from synaptic. The menu did the same thing to me and after either of those 2 events it showed up. Also you could run gvbam in the terminal for the gui.
