VBA-M can't open user config file

I can't save anything, including settings for controls. The error i see pop up is this.

 

can't open user configuration files

 

Details

Failed to create a temporary file name (error 2: No such file or directory)

can't open user configuration file

 

I'm on a mac. Help?
