Hello.
First of all, I would like to congratulate the work done here. I found your drivers recommended on forums in internet, in the sense of adjusting sensitivity on triggers and axis better than the default one from microsoft.
Â
Well, I bought a generic xbox360 controller and tried to install them, following the guides and the tips here on the forum. I got the drivers working and recognized by windows (the calibration and test function on windows works correctly, with the right buttons/axis/triggers been displayed when used). However, the emulator tool doesn't seem to recognize the control for adjustments (but some say that's normal, but I would like to confirm that, especially because of the fact that my control is generic), and the game F1 2011 don't recognize the control with the XBCD driver.
Â
So... i would like to ask you: Is the problem with my generic controller? If so, do you need the product ID? Windows recognize it like a "XBOX 360 controller for windows". Here's the data from dxdiag about the device.
XBCD Xbox 360 Controller
Vendor/Product ID: 0x045E, 0x028E
Location: Port#0002.Hub#0001
Matching Device ID: usb\vid_045e&pid_028e
Service: XBCD
OEMData: 23 00 88 11 18 00 00 00
Also, the problem could be the compatibility with the game, which I think is less probable, however I would like to ask you if this could be the problem. I already tried to change the xinput 1.3 with the other names, but I think this isn't the case, since F1 is a newer game.
Â
Thank you for your great work! And please, forgive my grammar because english isn't my mother language.
Â
The emulator tool is preconfigured for the standard stype, however if you click save and reload the app it should have changed to your control and work.
So apparently I'm having a little trouble myself.
Â
The Afterglow AX.1 Wired controller I have has a different VID and PID value than the one in the inf file, thus disabling my controller when I try updating the device driver manually after installing.
Â
In the INF file:
USB\VID_1BAD&PID_F900
Â
My Controller:
USB\VID_0E6F&PID_0113
I thought this thing was broken until i cleared the reprogrammed buttons.
XBCD_0.2.7 working with InterAct PowerPad Pro X-box pad VID_05FD&PID_107A on XP-SP3.
Â
Thank you 'omnichronologically', for making it possible to use this type of HW with Windows (probably even 8).
check release thread for new version
Razer Onza support is with issues. Triggers are naxis and buttons, when pressed they act as buttons, but axis are stuck at half of the amplitude. Xbox section is messed up. Right stick up and down reacts as left stick left right and etc. This can be seen here http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/9667/messedupe.png

Known Problems:
Xbox tab buttons light up randomly on 360 control devices. This can be Ignored as long as the buttons and axis work properly on the Windows tab.Driver does not reinit from standby/hibernate requiring a replug.
Â
Not a bug
When using Split Axis, only one side of each Axis (Z and R(Rotation)Z are different axis) are assigned, a calibration of the triggers is required to make them behave properly
Some apps read the axis invertedly resulting in the trigger behaving like its fully depressed when calibrated.

I also have a Razer Onza TE (USB\VID_1689&PID_FD00) and am having the same issues as the poster above. Everything seems to work in the windows control panel but I have major issues with it in XBCD Setup.
Â
I do apologize but I don't understand the quoted post above. Does it just not work or is there something I need to do to correct this.
Â
Hey, I'm having problems installing the xbcd 0.2.7 driver to my wired xbox 360 controller and hoping you could help.
Â
My problem is when i go to install the drivers i get a message mid way through saying 'cannot install this hardware' 'the system cannot find the file specified'.
Â
I have the microsoft drivers installed and using XP 32.
Â
Any help you could offer would be great, thanks
