So I just got your drivers working but I have one problem. I'm using a Konami DDR Pad and it automatically assigns the directions to the POV hat which means I can't press left and right or up and down at the same time. I need to be able to do this :[

I'd like to be able to change this with some kind of setup utility like you keep mentioning but this version doesn't appear to have one(?) Has anyone gotten Konami DDR Pads working with this driver? Am I just missing something?

Thank you /emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I don't seem to have an XBCD folder in my start menu at all for some reason but i managed to find it just by searching for it and it totally worked.

did you have 0.2.5 at some point?, the installer for that fails to remove a registry key that makes the xbcd subgroup not appear in the startmenu, you have to cut and paste it from there and back again.

Hello,

I'm using an X-Arcade solo, it's a 1st gen device

http://www.xgaming.com/service/images/Xback_PCB_Identify.jpg

with a converter it then goes to Xbox format

http://media.ldlc.com/photos/00/00/22/12/ME0000221268_2.jpg

I've modified cable, and plugged onto a PC

works well with XBCD and this ID

%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_04B4&PID_8BB1 ; X-Arcade Oldgen

I didn't tried 2nd port(P2), perhaps the PID would differ (unlikely)

Trying to get this working, Windows 7 64-bit, but I'm not finding myself able to install the driver. That is, the .inf file, so I can't get it to show up in the list of drivers when I go to update the driver from the device manager. So it's not a problem with the program as such, but maybe I'm not the only one who's had this issue. Trying to get it working with a Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE, and was by someone who has the same stick linked to an .inf with this string in it that I added to my own:

%XBCD_360.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0F0D&PID_0016 ; HRAP

But when I right-click on the .inf and choose Install, it just says "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation". Any ideas?

yeah, sorry, Mori had directinput drivers for the wireless control avaiable but his yahoo host is no longer available.

I still have Masahiko Morii's Dinput X360 Wireless Controller drivers for Windows 7 x64. Never used them (used the wired ones on my old PC).

Tried them today on my newly bought PC+WirelessController but they don't seem to work. Windows says there's an issue and whenever I plugin the controller it detects it, but it doesn't appear in the list. Unless I have to update the wireless receiver drivers too... that might be why it didn't work.

Oh well, whatever, I went off topic.

So back IT with what I wanted to ask, XBCD currently doesn't support wireless X360 controllers and I guess it won't ever because it's too complicated and it implies two different devices, right?

So I guess it's unreasonable to hope for support in the future.

Sounds strange though, didn't some old XBCD+ Vista drivers support X360 Wireless Controllers?

Anyway, my issue is simple and maybe someone here could suggest me another solution.

One of the games I play regularly (Final Fantasy XI) is very old and doesn't completely support X360 pad, basically it doesn't feel the analogic triggers as digital buttons.

I could overcome this with mapping softwares (there are many), mapping a keyboard key to those two buttons, but for reasons that I can't explain (you wouldn't understand if you don't know the game) I cannot use such a method.

So I wonder, is there any other way to "emulate" my pad and make my PC believe it's another pad? Like.... a FFXIV pad maybe. Could I force those drivers in place of my X360 ones?

Any other way? Can't think of any /emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ehr nevermind a lot of what I said in my previous post. Managed to make Morii's drivers work. Simply I had to use them NOT on the controller but on the WIRELESS RECEIVER.

Wonder if the same tactics would work with XBCD?

I'm still having issues though, even though the drivers recognize all movements perfectly, the game still cannot catch Xrotation/Yrotation (basically the right stick). It stays stuck in a direction and it doesn't sense me moving it.

Anybody has an idea why this is happenin?

Dunno if it's a bug/problem with these drivers or if it's my fault I messed up a bit with my previous tests trying to swap drivers for the Controller instead than the receiver

Via the wireless reciever? Never.

the x360ce dev, or atleast the guy who is continuing it anyway, is going to do a dinput to xinput wrapper some time in the future, might be what you need.

is that stick calibrated in devices and printers?
