Connecting as player 2 on Four Swords

Post by binpack »

VBA-M version 2.0.0-beta2

Dolphin 5.0

Pause when inactive window is deactivated.

The link is set to GameCube, on Local mode, and Link at boot.

The BIOS files are all in the right place.

I've made separate directories for both VBA-M setups, including separate BIOS files.

I'm loading the BIOS files at the right times.

I'm trying to connect two versions of VBA-M to Dolphin in Four Swords. I can connect one VBA-M perfectly fine, but attempting to connect a second does not work. It says in the program's title that it is player 1, even though I've set the default controller in the input to player 2.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm having the same problem in FF Crystal Chronicles. I've performed all the same steps.

After a great deal of google searching a kind soul (Skid) on the dolphin forums pointed me to the solution. It's a driver issue. The newer Xbox One drivers don't broke background input functionality and it's been that way for quite some time it seems. I'll link his post here as this page has a higher google search rank than the actual solution so it might help people in the future.
