Game Freezes & Doesn't Load - Pokemon Fire Red

I am using a VBAm2.0.1 on Mac, playing Pokemon Fire Red. It was saving successfully, but the game now refuses to open. The VBA seems to be working fine, but freezes up when i try open the game file.

If i download a new fire red app, it opens fine.

Please help! I would hate to lose my progress

One, you're using an out of date version of vba-m. Two, wrong forum you posted in, moved it for you. And three here's a new nightly http://win.vba-m.com/nightly/visualboya ... x86_64.zip current stable though is vba-m 2.1.4
