Hello,
as I use Fedora, I cant use the .deb file. Is there a way to generate a zip file with the necessary files? Like mupen64 does? (http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/)
It would be terrific /emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Â
Hello!
Â
I copy here a message posted earlier on the forum ngemu.com, because I just see that there is a topic dedicated to the Linux version of VBA-M here. /emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />
Â
Good morning.Â
I use the Linux version of VBA-M, which works much better with me that VBA!
Â
However, I find this Linux version is much neglected in comparison to the Windows version: It miss many features.
Â
The feature that most needed in my opinion is the emulation of the internal clock of the GBA -called "real time clock" I think. The latter is essential to fully enjoy games like Pokemon.
Â
Do you plan to put in the Linux version of VBA-M? Or at least add the essential functions of the type of emulation of the internal clock?
Â
Â
Texte original en français:
Â
Bonjour.

as i said on ngemu, the same basic functionality should be included in the linux ports, just a matter of ensuring the function is enabled on compile, and that the setting is set in the configuration for the emulator.

I installed the deb package available, ie the version SNV877.
Â
Here's a screenshot of the Windows version SNV926, emulated by WINE, showing the menu where the option to emulate the internal clock appears (selected):
Â
Now, here is a screenshot of the Linux version SNV877:
We see the same menu where the option cited is not available this time, like many others too, not only in this menu...

the linux gui is half arsed, but the settings should all still be available in the configuration file.

I added the entry to the end of "[Core]", "emulator_type=0" under.
Unfortunately, it is deleted when I run VBA-M.
