I've just downloaded the later 2.2.3 version and I can't find a way to change the video recording setting.
The generated video is really compressed, despite being an already small file (given the resolution) there are visible artifacts and temporal artifacts that could easily be avoided.
In the previous version I have installed (1.7.2, old from 2003) you can select the codec, included uncompressed pictures. I can't find a way to select that here.
The artifacts are especially bad once you scale them to modern video resolution.
