VBA Autofire does not work properly

When I turn Autofire on for the B button and I hold "Alt+2" sometimes it works and sometimes it works for about 5 seconds and stops working. If i play around with it, turning it off and on a few times, it might start working again.

Another small problem is that when i turn the option on i cannot use the button on my controller.

I am using a PS4 controller through the DS4 tool on Windows 7.

I don't know what the issue is or how to fix it as searching for a solution gives me nothing.

An answer would really help me out a lot. I'm trying to level my tools up in Harvest Moon FoMT and Turbo buttons would help me out a lot.
