VisualBoyAdvance-M

I believe I downloaded the latest visualboy advance. I downloaded a pokemon gold rom. Once I get to the screen where it says New game or options. I click enter and nothing happens at all.

 

I havent played pokemon in years and I thought I would try it on the computer. Im kind of a noob at this.

 

Could anyone help me out? Ive checked through other threads and couldnt find anything related to my situation.

do other games work?

I havent tried other games. I have tried pokemon silver though also and the same thing happens.

did you assign buttons in the input configuration?

Where would I do that? I think that is the issue

options > input > set >

Any idea why my character sprints everywhere and i cant control it because he runs so fast

enable vsync and / or audio sync

 

vsync is under the video options

audio sync under the audio options
