Im on MAC OSX im running VBA-M version 1.2.8
Â
the only game i play is FFTA. (i know all about the saving issues involving ffta)
I know battery saves arent really working.
I can save the game using save states. but the problem is i cant find the file.
I know its saving somehow but i cant find the save state for the life of me.
i looked through all the contents of the app. i looked for any file remotely resembling a save state and so far im getting nowhere.
Â
I realize this is an old problem.
ive looked all over this site and was unable to find a similar post.
i know im being specific but id really appreciate some help.
Â
any help would be great.
thanks in advance

sorry, can't provide support for osx versions. nobody in the dev team uses OSX to be able to help you.

Try to see if there's something in the toolbar for the program about directories. If it has that, just open it up and look at the entries. One of them should point to the location for save files. But since Mac OSX is similar to Linux (which is infinitely better than Mac), I'd say it's default location would be /home//.config/gvbam/ or in just in your home directory. I'd recommend you search your home directory if you can't find the location of your saves through the directory option on the VBA-M toolbar.
