XBCD 0.2.7 Discussion
Alright, I'm sure this is a silly question, but I'd like to ask anyway...
Â
Does this happen to support the Steel Battalion controller? Or are there any plans for it to do so in the future?
Â
Thanks.

if it is a xbox or wired xbox 360 control then all i need is the device's hardware id's.

Â
Well, it is a wired controller... of sorts, for the original XBox.
Â
Â
It hooked up to just one port, but it has 40+ buttons, 2 and 1/2 joy-sticks, and 3 foot pedals.
Â
If all that is required is the ID, I have the controller, and a USB to Xbox... how would I go about getting it? If it's more complicated than that, the closest thing to a working 64-bit driver is this .net library on geektelligence:
Â
Ok I've installed everything and have it all running, but still unable to use controller.. Its still saying unknown driver.. Im using a wired xbox 360 controller, and at the time being trying to play the game NFS 11. Can you tell me what I need to do to get this to work. Also your guide URL does not work.
Also I've tried manually installing the driver several times, and it keeps telling me to make sure its compatable with 32bit or something to that nature.
I looked thru your install guide, and my controller isnt showing up as 'XBOX 360 Controller' or whatever. Just showing up as Unknown Device. Is there anyway to fix this?

not without the required hardware information.
And where do I find those? If its on the back of the controller it looks like the peice I need has faded off.. Ive taken apart the controller, and if theres any info under there you need let me know.
its in device manager or usbview
Hi, I have a Hori HRAP VX-SA arcade stick that doesn't work with XBCD. It shows up as XBOX 360 Controller For Windows Class in Device Manager, though. XBCD doesn't show up when I try to manually install the driver.
Â
The hardware ID is USB\VID_1BAD&PID_F502, if you need it.
Â
Thanks.
tbh, i've not seen the reason to support arcade sticks in xbcd, the common class driver supports all the buttons and axis it supports just fine. :\
