Iridion II lockup (bgm still playing)

Hi there, I just discovered an emulation bug in:

Level 1 (the one after the training level)
Some seconds after first boss appears, pressing the 'A' button will lock up the game, however, the bgm will continue playing.

From the beginning of the level or so until that occurs, I repeatedly get the following messages:
Illegal halfword read: 0400004c at 08020572
Illegal halfword read: 0400004c at 080212aa
Illegal halfword read: 0400004c at 080214a6

The first time, I got
Undefined ARM instruction 1d085b42 at 04560808
while the game locked up, but I can't reproduce it again.Â

Hmm...perhaps I should go and find my BoF2 save states again. It has the same problem, although I always thought it was due to the cheats I was using cuasing some sort of corruption.
A castles starts exploding and the sound glitches and the game freezes and that's that.

You should be able to get rid if any cheating influences by disabling cheats, doing a game ("battery") save, and loading from that save (cheats still disabled).

I have been playing BoF2 USA release and never noticed anything even with cheats on [img]<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/wacko.png[/img]/emoticons/wacko@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

It was the fairly late into the game...(I don't remember that much but you have monkey/monk/hand to hand + acrobatics guy in your party and you go to his castle home and the place gets tottalled and freezes) I guess it could have been the fault of an older version of the emu though.

Just tested Iridion, and i can't reproduce the crash.

So, it seems liek the save game I attached back then is corrupted when I download it now.

I tested that bug with the current SVN891 and it's still there.
Â
As soon as the first boss arrived on screen, and I press the A button, the graphics freeze, but the sound keeps playing. If I don't press the A button, everything is fine.

I'll attach another save statte which is about 5 seconds before the bug can be activated.

Sorry, but i won't consider an issue brought about when the issue only exists within a game thats restored from a state.

There is no issues otherwise, and i've tested the E rom with no apparent issues.
