As the thread title suggests, it would be good to have a status message when you disable/enable the cheats, since a short-cut combo can be defined for it in the Customise Keys section.

I just added your desired feature to my local code. I will upload it as soon as my home internet connection works again (defective port at provider). Should be in about one or two days.
