I was just playing Pokemon Fire Red with VBA-M, using my Xbox Stype controller, and the screensaver kicked in.

 

I don't remember this happening in VBA, or in previous versions of vba-m for that matter.

It seems to be related to "on resume, password protect" being enabled, strange, other apps have no problems with this. and it occurs across multiple system setups so its not a borked setup lol.

I need to look up the API commands for screensaver handling though....

The note he edited in also complies with my system.

 

So what would also be easy is if mudlord recalled what he changed in this build from the one directly before.

VBA disables power management, but it hasn't been updated for XP's password schemes.

Quite frankly I am shocked why this wasnt done in the first place.

 

I now have the time to work more on VBA-M, so I intend to make some heavy SVN updates in the next few days.

 

Which includes my screensaver patch.
