Is it just me

Post by mudlord »

Is it just me, or even since I voiced my intentions to no longer be in the emuscene, that this place died? I have been talking with Spacy about getting back on here, since cracking programs no one knows about, isn't exactly fulfilling....I guess my issue was spending too much time worrying about and being involved in the emuscene, than spending time on myself and others, which is what matters /emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />.

Oh well.

Hm, I also had that feeling. Even though I had loads of time, I was too lazy to do something useful. Talk about wasted time & talent -_-"

I remember that, back when I was in school, even though I had homework and that stuff, I developed more than I do now that I don't have anything to do. (This will change in some weeks, finally  ).

One issue is that I am missing something like a timeline or a common, more detailed goal to work towards. Something that I know people will be happy about.

Same here. I feel like I am floating through life now, with no clarity or drive. Same with the lack of motivation (ie laziness) to do something with my skills. I have so much ideas, but I don't know where to start. I still have ideas for this project I want to finish, too.

Ironically, same here. University was a major motivator, until things in my life went completely down the drain. And now I am still trying to pick up the pieces, and that was a few months ago....

Having clarity would be a excellent thing. Funnily enough, I am really good at working towards deadlines & agendas, however the actual process of motivating me to even do such a thing is quite hard for me. Having said that, having no clear goals is like a boat without a rudder: things will just spiral out of control.

I haven't been that active because of college, being behind on my work and worrying whether or not I'll pass this semester and royally fuxxor my financial aid opportunity once again with, and having to pay back a $6,000+ loan.

So I have just been randomly lurking at Ngemu every so often when I get a chance and a couple other forums.

Sounds fair. Though for me, I rather have my personal affairs sorted before I get back into devel, which they are slowly are....

good to hear mud'. I think the activity slowdown was more to do with not much input from the developers, then you leaving. everyones been busy with their own thing.
