Control problem

Post by niord »

Hi all

I have version 1.7.2

I have this problem; the cursor in a game keeps constantly scrolling as if the up or down arrow were constantly pressed. "hen I try to configure the joypad the words UP ARROW start appearing in each of the cells.

I have tried to fix this problem without posting including fiddling around with the emulator, reading the readme, and searching for similar problems on the internet.

Thanks for helping me.

well for one thing vba-m is not using 1.7.2 sources but 1.8.0 modified sources from other developers in 1 complete package, I suggest updating to http://sourceforge.net/projects/vbam/files/Win32%20-%20MFC/VisualBoyAdvanceM913.7z/download and give it a shot, the changes in this may wow you /emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

It sounds more like an issue with DirectInput or the Game pad being uncalibrated

well i know that assigning my triggers as the shoulder buttons, causes the control to think one of the stick directions has been pressed.

if you get a chance could you take a look at the DI8 code?
