hello all, im kinda have the same problem as other on here but with my:
MadCatz MC2 xbox 1 wheel no rumble in any games just in setup utility.
Â
USB\VID_0738&PID_4530
Â
Direct X Diagnostic tool
XBCD Xbox Controller
controller ID 0
Vendor ID 0x0738
Product ID 0x4530
FF N/a
Â
hope someone can help as this drives me crazy that the rumble dusnt work in games
Â
Games try'ed: Dirt2, Grid, dolphin emu
Forgot
Windows Vista 64bit
XBCD 0.2.7
unplug the wheel, install the updated xbcd from my skydrive/xtemu and plug back in, the FFB should be available with no need to reinstall the drivers

Â
thank you for the update it now show this in Direct X Diagnostic tool:
Â
XBCD Xbox Controller
controller ID 0
Vendor ID 0x0738
Product ID 0x4530
FF C:\Windows\SysWow64\XBCDR.dll
Â
And Fedit.exe now see's the wheel ( as a controller if that matters?)
but i get error messages when testing in Fedit
Â
when opening Fedit:
warning: could not disable auto-centering spring in device.
Â
in Fedit
00000000: Couldn't create the effect
00000001: hresult =0x80004001: function not supported
00000002: Effect is null, so can't play
Â
and rumble still dusnt work in games like Dirt2, Grid. and Dolphin emu dusnt see the wheel as having rumble tryed 32bit and 64 bit
added: Pcsx2 sees the wheels rumble as DX XBCD Xbox Controller but when testing dusnt work.
Â
and thx again Squall Leonhart for getting back to me so fast
Dirt2 uses Xinput, and im not sure about Grid
Â
Rumble on wheels particularly with non racing apps is not really tested on xbcd, there may be driver hacks required for centering, which the driver otherwise does not include, unfortunately im not up to modifying the driver outside of applying already tested patches
i just use it to play dirt 2, Grid, need for speed hot pursuit. I dont mined not haven rumble or fores feed back that's just ice n on the cake lol.
Â
i mainly use xbcd for my other 2 xbox 1 controllers for dolphin emu so me and my friends can play new super mario bros.
Â
kinda wish i new about xbcd before i got rid of my old xbox controllers,
the plugins got messed up and i couldnt connect them to the xbox.
Hi can you add Razer Onza into supported device ?

idVendor: 0x1BAD

I don't know what the hell i did but now the rumble works in the wheel on most of my games.
Â
Tested:
Â
Fedit works no errors
Dolphin emu 32bit works
Dolphin emu 64bit still dont see it
Â
Need 4 speed works
Â
have yet to try dirt2 as Squall said "Dirt2 uses Xinput"
and have yet to try it with Grid
tested rumbles the wrong controller on both Grid and Dirt2 lol
XBCD includes the latest X360CE wrapper, its known to work on dirt but it'll need adjusting for the wheel
Thx for all ur help , and sorry for asking so my Q's but would know of a guide/ tutorial for X360CE.
when i try to use it, it see's all the controllers plunged in and i can map them, dings at me when i do. but the games still use the mapped setting from XBCD setup utility. do i have to move any files around or something
Â
wellz thx again for you help
