The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords (4 Players)?

Post by bradsmithsite »

I have "VisualBoyAdvance-M1030b.exe", which is the latest VBA-M. Using the Link feature, I can setup a two player game, however, I've tried EVERYTHING for connecting four players, but to no avail.

Does someone know how to setup a four player game correctly? Is this a known bug?

I've tried different time outs, loading the cartridges in different orders, both europe and US ROMs. Nothing works for (three or) four players?

Please assist!

you need enough cpu power to have all instances >95% performance, and to use the link as network instead of single computer

connect each instance to the local machine by using localhost as the ip

I already was using network to connect multiple network instances, didn't know you could connect with RPC! That's cool.

I believe it has something to do with the processor speed, so will play around with that for a couple of hours.

Thanks for the advice!

Maybe that's why my FFTA can't sync itself for a battle... Gonna check it for the future.
