Thank you Squall, you're right about joy.cpl fixing the need for deadzones. It was just that I was trying to use it apparently before I changed to the Xbox 360 emu preset. I'll edit my post above for this.

Thanks for the reply and f*** my life. The triggers are working, but nex problem is ahead:angry:
Â
So i can put the left trigger on Left Stick click and it works ingame. But consecutively putting B on the left trigger and nothing happens goddamit...
Â
I think it is because when i press the left stick, the left trigger also glows in the utility. Can't really see a logic behind that as at least in the utility only those buttons should react that are actually pressed to avoid this stupid double mapping problem ??
Â
Really sucks to sit on a game and not be able to play it....
The standard config is just crippling:ashamed:

You should really take Squall's advice on this one, he is the expert here. I'm sure he'll be able to help you if you do what he says.

x360ce setup - for use with xbcd
Hello, sorry if this isn't the correct place for this issue, but I've downloaded x360ce 0.2.7 and I've got some minor issues with my MadCatz GamePad Pro.
Â
I took some screenshots and marked my 2 problems.
Â
- When I use the Left Trigger, it's activating "Stick Y Axis" down. See 1st attached picture.
Â
Â
- Not touching anything on the controller, you can see the Right Stick is not perfectly set to 0,0, but rather it's always counting and hovers around 0,6000. You can see the "Count" keeps climbing in a matter of minutes. See 2nd attached picture.
Â
Â
The only Options I've changed is setting both Triggers to IAxis 3 and 6, and turned on "Pass Through".
Â
Any help on this is very much appreciated! Trying to play GTA 4 for hours now!

Hello psfc_yojimbo,
Â
I'm no expert at this, however I would first suggest that you run the joystick calibration through joy.cpl for this device if you haven't already. I think at the very least it will clear up the second problem you mentioned. If that doesn't help, you'll probably have to wait for Squall to answer.
Â
Good Luck!

Hey there, thanks for the reply. Yeah I ran joy.cpl and went through the calibration wizard. After it finished the same thing happens regarding the 2nd issue I posted above, where I wont touch anything on the controller and it continuously registers and does not settle at 0,0. I didn't see any other posts in the forum that match these issues, but hopefully it's an easy fix for both!

the thumbsticks used in official microsoft pads tend to be crappy, increasing the deadzone in the xbcd setup utility should resolve that small amount of motion.

Cool I'll try that. How much do you think, 5% maybe? Any ideas about the 1st issue where the left trigger activates the right stick down? Thanks!

can you screenshot the XBCD setup utility for me, your 360ce settings appear right.
