Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510 - Dpad problems

Post by MF4 »

Hey Guys,

I tried my Logitech Rumble Gamepad with some gba games and recognized that the dpad is not working properly.

When i press up or down and switch to the left or right ones, the input is not accepted. It only works if i release the pressed button and press left or right afterwards.

Vice versa, the switch from left or right to up or down works without problems. Using the Keyboard or a game not designed for game boy advance does not result in that error.

By the way i'm using the Windows-Wx 2.0.0 beta 2 version from sourceforge.

Hey

I just checked it with my VBA (V1.8.0) and there this problem does not occur.

I just switched to linux and here I am experiencing the same issue..

Furthermore, I have the problem that the wx-version uses the localized keynames (for example Joy1-Taste1), but it does not work with that. Instead it needs the english ones (Joy1-button1)

Is there a way to fix that?

set the F510 to Dinput mode instead of Xinput mode.

Great that fixed it.

Thank you.

Now I will just have to wait until the fix for the translated keynames is ready.
