Hey guys, just new here and was curious about migrating my save state files from VBA to VBA-M. I'm running on Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, and was able to download the VBA-M-MacOS-X-0.1.dmg build from the project page.
Â
I had originally started Pokemon Fire Red on the VBA on Snow Leopard, and thought it would be easy enough to take the save game files (.sgm as I understand), as well as the battery saves and copy them into my Library/Application Support/VBA-M folder as instructed in the readme.txt. For some reason it just doesn't seem to pick those saves up, can't load them at all and nothing happens.
Â
The VBA version I was originally running is VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.4, and the games load fine in there, but I'm hoping to switch to VBA-M as the original VBA is a PowerPC app, and as a result won't work if I decide to upgrade to OS X 10.7 Lion later down the road.
Â
I tried putting the saves in ~/Library/Application Support/VBA-M, I tried in the Save States folder, nothing. Am I missing something, running a super old build of VBA-M that doesn't support the saves? If so, how can I move past this?

Thanks very much in advance to whoever takes the time to read/look into this. Much love and respect, just a newbie here.
