The latest VBA RDB, which allows GBA roms with certain protections to run is available here.

 

 

Note, that for games that require a 128KB battery file, if the game was initially saved at 64K, the save file will most likely need to be deleted.

Great. What about including that in the default distribution ?

Btw, I remember reading the acronym RDB in conjunction with Project64, what does it stand for again?

Rom database.

 

i might work a bunch of my games into it and enforce various configurations. so that its impossible to have the wrong setting.

Not sure that's too high on the priorities list at the moment.

 

Anyways no$gba does support the solar sensor...it's the only GBA emu to do so as far as I know.

VBA supports it via patching, you use the L and R buttons to raise it up and down iirc.
